Nurses deny neglecting elderly man at Clare home
Nurses are strongly rejecting claims that they neglected an elderly man suffering from Alzheimer's Disease at a Co Clare nursing home.
The Psychiatric Nurses Association says the allegations by some of the man's relatives are "unfounded" and "absurd" and the quality of care at the facility is excellent.
The association also says it has had to call on the HSE to put measures in place to protect nurses from abuse at the Cappahard nursing home in Ennis over the past year.
