€3.5m worth of drugs seized in west Dublin

Drugs with an estimated street value of €3.5m have been seized by Gardaí as part of a major international police operation today.

A firearm and a quantity of ammunition were also recovered in the raid on a premises in west Dublin.

A man in his 20s was arrested.

Around 420 kilos of herbal cannabis, 10 kilos of cocaine, a firearm and some ammunition were recovered in the operation.

A man in his 20s from the Driminagh area was arrested and is being held at Clondalkin Garda Station.
