Man dies in Westmeath crash

A man has died after the car in which he was travelling crashed on the N6 in Co Westmeath this morning.

No other vehicles were involved in the accident, which happened near Kinnegad at around 10.30am.

The driver of the car was also hospitalised after the crash.
