Lowry, McGrath sign deals to back Bertie Ahern

Independent TDs Michael Lowry and Finian McGrath have both agreed deals with Fianna Fáil to back Bertie Ahern as Taoiseach when the new Dáil meets tomorrow.

Details of the agreements have not been disclosed, but Mr Lowry says he has secured significant investments that will bring huge benefits to his North Tipperary constituency.
