Drogheda: Search to resume for missing man

A search for a missing man in the River Boyne in Drogheda will resume this evening.

The alarm was raised at around 4am today.

The missing man is understood to be in his early 20s.

The search has been called off due to high tides - but it will resume again at 6pm today.

Local rescue teams and the Gardaí are conducting the operation, which is concentrated around the Bridge of Peace in Drogheda.
