12-year-old charged with shoplifting flat-screen TV

A girl, believed to be aged 12, who is charged with shoplifting a 32-inch television set, has been remanded on bail pending directions from the Director of Public Prosecutions.

The girl and her 16-year-old sister are charged with theft of the 32-inch flat LCD television, valued at €1,000, from the Dixon’s outlet at the Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, on March 9 last.
