Thousands of people across the country are living in accommodation they feel is too large for them, Green Party finance spokesperson Dan Boyle TD said today.

These "empty nesters" - families with grown up children who have moved away from home - will benefit from the Green Party's proposals to extend relief on stamp duty for those who are 'downsizing' and for families who wish to purchase the property made available as a result of downsizing, he claimed today.
