'Empty nesters' will benefit from Green reforms, says Boyle
Thousands of people across the country are living in accommodation they feel is too large for them, Green Party finance spokesperson Dan Boyle TD said today.
These "empty nesters" - families with grown up children who have moved away from home - will benefit from the Green Party's proposals to extend relief on stamp duty for those who are 'downsizing' and for families who wish to purchase the property made available as a result of downsizing, he claimed today.
