The North's Police Ombudsman has cleared the PSNI of wrongdoing in connection with serious injuries suffered by a man at an illegal rave in Derry four years ago.

The 31-year-old man suffered a fractured skull when he fell as police cleared 250 people from the rave in April 2003.

His family complained that he may have been pushed by a police officer, but the Ombudsman says the evidence from witnesses indicates that he fell.

She also says she has found no convincing evidence that police officers failed to come to the man's aid.
