Gardaí investigate 'explosion' under car

Gardaí have launched an investigation following reports of an explosion under a parked car in north Dublin.

The incident happened around 11pm last night in Finglas.

Gardaí say a small explosion went off under the parked vehicle outside a house in Ratoath Drive.

No injuries were reported.

The matter is under investigation and the scene is preserved for technical examination.
