The INO and the PNA are meeting today to discuss the Taoiseach's offer of an independent expert to evaluate their claim for a 35-hour working week.

Bertie Ahern made the offer last week, but also insisted that the nursing unions' claims for a 10% pay increase can only be addressed through the benchmarking process.
