Nursing unions reject Taoiseach's suggestions

The nursing unions are rejecting the Taoiseach Bertie Ahern's suggestion that an international expert be brought in to assess how to achieve their 35-hour working week.

Mr Ahern also sought to seperate the two issues of pay and working hours which are at the heart of the current dispute.
