Garda receives 16 stitches after gang attack in Wexford

A garda is recovering in hospital after being attacked by a gang of people during disturbances in Co Wexford over the weekend.

The trouble began when an incident in a nightclub in the village of Blackwater spilled onto the streets in the early hours of Sunday morning.
