An 18-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after an assault left one person critically ill in hospital.

An 18-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after an assault left one person critically ill in hospital.

The injured man sustained severe head injuries in the attack in the early hours of Sunday morning at Inver Wood in east Belfast.

The suspect is to be charged at Belfast Magistrates’ Court in the morning.
