Two in custody over murder of Estonian man
Two men remain in garda custody in connection with the murder of an Estonian forklift driver near Dublin Airport yesterday morning.
The 28-year-old victim, who had been living in Ireland for two years, was dragged from his car and beaten to death by a gang of men in the early hours of yesterday morning.
The assault happened in a lay-by off the Naul Road known locally as a 'lover's lane'.
A woman who was with the dead man escaped from the scene and raised the alarm, while the victim's car was later found abandoned at an empty halting site off the N32 near Darndale.
Gardaí later arrested a 17-year-old youth and a man in his 20s, both of whom can be held for 24 hours before they must be charged or released.
