Time for new direction, says Sargent

Green Party leader Trevor Sargent welcomed the Taoiseach calling the general election today, saying the country is “crying out” for a new direction.

“I welcome today's announcement,” said Sargent. “It's time for a new Government and a new direction and today's announcement draws this prospect closer.
