Extra funding for Galway water crisis

The Government has allocated additional funding to help deal with Galway's water crisis.

Galway City and County Councils will both receive over €1m each, to help offset the additional costs of dealing with the cryptosporidium outbreak.

The funding is part of a €15m package for local authorities countrywide to go towards water and sewerage schemes.
