Poll points to third FG seat in Kerry South

An opinion poll in Kerry South has found that Fine Gael could take the third seat in the constituency if it maximises its vote at the coming election.

The Red C poll for The Kingdom newspaper suggests Minister for Sport John O'Donoghue and Labour's Breeda Moynihan-Cronin will be re-elected to the Dáil.

Independent TD Jackie Healy-Rae is favourite to clinch the third seat, but Tom Sheahan of Fine Gael is just one point behind him on 15%, with his party colleague Seamus 'Cosai' Fitzgerald expected to get 9% of the first preference votes.
