A row has broken out in Galway over the City Council's moves to subsidise the cost of bottled water for residents.

A row has broken out in Galway over the City Council's moves to subsidise the cost of bottled water for residents.

Because of the contamination of the local water supply, the council has reached an agreement with Galway Irish Spring Water whereby people can buy two bottles for the price of one.
