Limerick gardaí investigate after man dies of head-injuries
Gardaí have launched an investigation, following the death of a man in Limerick this morning.
He died in Limerick Regional Hospital from injuries he sustained last night.
According to gardaí in Limerick, the man, who is believed to be a polish national in his 20s, was found with serious head injuriein a house in Briarfield, Castleroy this morning at 1am.
He was removed to Limerick Regional Hospital where he later died.
In Wexford, meanwhile a 17-year-old and a 19-year-old are still being held following the fatal stabbing of Anthony Cullen at a caravan park near Rosslare Strand yesterday.
And in Dublin a 20 year old man is recovering in Beaumont hospital after being stabbed a number of times on Snowdrop Walk, Darndale around midnight.
A 24-year-old man who was arrested near the scene of the attack has been released without charge and a file is being prepared for the DPP
