Man in his 20s shot dead in Dublin

A man in his 20s is dead following a shooting in Dublin city last night.

He was shot on Charlemont Road on the north side of the city 11.45pm.

Five people - four men and a woman - have been arrested and are being held at Clontarf, Raheny and Howth garda stations.

The scene of the shooting remains sealed off and the state pathologist is due to carry out an examination.
