Nurses' talks to resume today

Talks between nursing unions and the National Implementation Body, over improved pay and conditions, will resume at Government Buildings later today.

Hospitals nationwide could face widespread chaos from next week if industrial action, threatened by forty thousand nurses, goes ahead.

The National Implementation Body set up a forum to try to address the nurses' claims, but the talks were adjourned yesterday amid fears that they were about to collapse.
