17 new CCTV systems to be installed on streets nationwide

Seventeen new CCTV systems are to be installed in locations across the country by the end of the year under plans announced by the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice today.

The expansion will bring the total number of areas with garda CCTV systems to 26.
