Top Belfast loyalist William “Mo” Courtney was jailed for eight years today over the killing of one of deposed terror boss Johnny Adair’s closest associates.

Courtney, 43, a one-time paramilitary commander, showed no emotion as he was led from the dock in handcuffs after admitting the manslaughter of Alan McCullough.
