Gardaí in Co Louth have questioned a man in connection with a fatal crash on the Dundalk to Carlingford road over the weekend.

Sixty-four-year-old George Campbell, from Jenkinstown, and 17-year-old David Keenan, from Mountpleasant in Dundalk, were both killed in the two-car collision early yesterday morning.

Two other people were also injured and are being treated at Our Lady of Lourdes hospital in Drogheda.

Gardaí are investigating the possibility that there were more than three people in one of the cars, and are appealing for them to come forward.
