Door open to power-sharing: Ahern

The fortunes of the North will turn on developments involving the peace process in the weeks ahead, Taoiseach Bertie Ahern said last night.

After so many years of delay and disappointment, "there is now acceptance that the key outstanding issues which have frustrated progress have been addressed and that it is time for Northern Ireland to move on", he said.
