Woman held in connection with death of man in Tipperary

A woman has been arrested in connection with the death of a man, whose body was found in Tipperary last night.

She is being held at Thurles Garda station.

It's believed the victim - who was in his thirties - was stabbed to death at a house in the New Line area of Roscrea.

A forensic examination of the scene is underway, and the State Pathologist will conduct a post-mortem at Limerick Regional Hospital.
