Gardaí launch investigation after woman injured at nursing home

Gardaí have confirmed they are investigating the circumstances in which an elderly woman was injured at a nursing home in Co Clare.

The woman, who is in her 70s, was reported to be critically ill after being taken to Ennis General Hospital with head injuries yesterday.
