Trócaire to challenge ban on advertisements

The Trócaire charity says it plans to lodge a submission with the Broadcasting Commission today challenging a ban on ads for its annual Lenten campaign.

The BCI ordered independent broadcasters to pull the TV and radio ads yesterday due to concerns that they breach regulations on political content.
