Senior counsel to review files on death of murdered baby

The Government has asked a leading barrister to review official files on the death of a baby girl whose body was found in Dun Laoghaire 34 years ago.

Senior Counsel Patrick Gageby has been asked to review all the available papers on the death of baby Noleen Murphy to see if there is any basis for a full inquiry into the handling of the death.
