Greens will increase teachers and ban political donations

The Green Party has pledged to create 2,400 new teaching jobs, in order to cut class sizes nationwide, as well as putting a stop to all political donations.

Announcing the €84m plan at the Party's Annual Convention in Galway today Green Party education spokesperson Paul Gogarty TD said that Ireland had one of the worst records of any developed country when it came to class sizes.
