Kenny: New hospital units must be fast-tracked

New hospital units should be fast-tracked under special legislation designed to speed up major infrastructure projects, the Dáil heard today.

Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny said the provision of extra beds should come under the remit of the Critical Infrastructure Bill, which hastens motorways and public transport schemes.
