Beaumont hospital urges public to avoid 'under pressure' A&E

Dublin's Beaumont hospital is asking people not to attend its Accident and Emergency department unless their visit is absolutely essential.

The request is one of a number of measures being taken to address - what the hospital says is - extremely serious pressures on demand for services within the hospital.
