Taoiseach and Tánaiste disagree on Mahon Tribunal

Taoiseach Bertie Ahern and the Tánaiste Michael McDowell have voiced different opinions about closing down the Mahon Tribunal.

The Minister for Justice put forward the idea of winding the inquiry up because of the high legal costs, which could top €1bn.
