Govt must admit it damaged confidence in politics: Kenny

Fianna Fáil won’t be able to shake off its corrupt past until it fully accepts that the party damaged public confidence in politics, the Dail heard today.

Speaking about December’s Moriarty Tribunal report, Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny said the findings exposed devastating abuses of public trust by former Taoiseach Charles Haughey.
