Shell has said that it is hoping to meet with An Bord Pleanála to discuss the planning requirements for a gas pipeline in Co Mayo.

Shell has said that it is hoping to meet with An Bord Pleanála to discuss the planning requirements for a gas pipeline in Co Mayo.

The company wants to find out what procedures they need to follow under the new Strategic Infrastructure Act before they apply for planning permission.

Contrary to reports this morning, Shell has confirmed that it has not held talks with An Bord Pleanála, but is requesting a meeting with the organisation.
