Kilkenny family evacuated after truck crashes into house

A Co Kilkenny family have had a lucky escape after a truck crashed into their house in Thomastown over the weekend, causing major damage.

A woman, her son and daughter and three grandchildren were all in the house on Mill Street at the time of the incident yesterday morning.

They had to be evacuated due to the extent of the damage along with residents of the adjoining house.
