Gardaí release names of road death victims

Seven people lost their lives on Ireland's roads between Tuesday and Friday of this week.

Gardaí this afternoon released the names of five of those killed.

Two people died as a result of accidents on Tuesday the 30th - 27 year old Stephen O'Reilly from Tallaght, was killed in a collision in Kilkee Co. Clare.

The name of the other person to die on Tuesday has not yet been released

On Wednesday, 58-year-old Anne Dominik from Clara in Co. Offaly lost her life in an accident in the town.

On Thursday, a 62-year-old local man, George Faulkner, died following a collision in Quigley's Point, Donegal.

There was also a fatal road accident in Co. Meath, but thar victim's name has not yet been released.

Finally, Daniel McDonnell, a 21 year old from Arklow, was lost his life yesterday in the Co. Wicklow town.
