Graduates urged to apply to medical school under new scheme

The Department of Education is beginning an advertising campaign today to encourage college graduates to apply to medical schools.

Under a new scheme, anyone with an 2.1 honours degree who wishes to become a doctor will no longer need the high points required by Leaving Cert students.
