Crisis talks at lens factory

Union leaders and bosses at a major factory in Waterford begin crisis talks at the Labour Relations Commission today to avert strike action.

The negotiations follow an eleventh hour agreement between both sides which narrowly prevented a walk out at the Bausch and Lomb plant last night.
