Gardaí investigate Galway stabbing

Gardaí are today investigating a stabbing which occurred in Galway last night.

A man was attacked on Threadneedle Road in Salthill at around 10.30pm.

It is understood that the man had been stabbed in the back, but his injuries are not life-threatening.
