Sick children and their parents want a modern hospital and it must not be further delayed, Minister for Health Mary Harney said tonight.

The minister insisted the new National Children’s Hospital will be built by 2011 on its selected site beside the Mater Hospital despite the objections of hospital bosses in Tallaght and Crumlin.
