The Government is reportedly planning to hold a referendum in March to address the fallout from last year's Supreme Court ruling on statutory rape.

Last May, the court ruled that the law at the time was unconstitutional because it did not allow a man accused of having sex with a minor to argue that he made an honest mistake about the age of the child.
