Gardaí name victim of Meath house fire

Gardaí have named a 60-year-old woman who was killed in a house fire in Co Meath.

Maura Griffin from Drumgill near Drumcondrath was found dead in her home yesterday evening.

It is understood the blaze - which was out by the time the alarm was raised - may have broken out some time earlier.

Initial reports suggest the victim was overcome by smoke.
