Teen arrested following dual-carriageway shooting

A 19-year-old man has been arrested after a shooting incident involving two cars on a dual carriageway in Limerick.

It happened on the Limerick to Shannon Road, when a gunman in one car shot at the driver in another.

The driver, who was on his own in the car at the time, was not injured.

The car used by the gunman crashed a short distance away close the Radisson Hotel. Both cars are being forensically examined.

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses.

The incident is believed to be feud-related.
