Bosnia body identified as that of missing Irish woman
The body of a woman found in The Bosnian village of Medjugorje earlier this week has been formally identified as that of Dublin woman Winnie Brady.
The 59-year-old disappeared last September while on pilgrimage in the area.
Her badly decomposed remains were discovered on a hill above the village on early this week.
Mrs Brady, from Raheny in Dublin, was last seen leaving her guesthouse after she declined to join her group in prayer.
A massive search was mounted, but she was never found.
Her husband, Stephen, travelled to Bosnia following this week's discovery formally identified items of her jewellery this morning.
