Man critically ill after tree-felling accident on M3 route

A man is in a critical condition in hospital after he was injured during tree-felling work on the route of the controversial M3 motorway near the Hill of Tara yesterday.

The man is believed to be a worker engaged in the tree-felling at Lismullen Wood, which has attracted protests from opponents of the motorway project.
