Third Kildare house fire victim being laid to rest today

The 55-year-old man killed in a fire at his home in Co Kildare earlier this week is being laid to rest today.

Pat Flood died when a fire engulfed his home in Ballysax on Tuesday morning.

The incident happened just hours after a young couple died in a separate house fire in the nearby Curragh camp.

Mr Flood is due to be buried at St Paul's Cemetery in Ballysax today after Mass at 11am.
