FG plays down talk of rift after Deasy leadership remarks

Fine Gael is playing down talk of a party rift following John Deasy's call for Enda Kenny to face a leadership challenge if he fails to get the party into government after this year's election.

The Waterford TD made the comments yesterday and said he would be interested in taking over the leadership should a challenge take place.
