Padraig Nally to give evidence at inquest into Ward death
Mayo farmer Padraig Nally is reportedly set to give evidence at the inquest into the death of the man he killed more than two years ago.
The 62-year-old shot and killed John 'Frog' Ward after he trespassed on his farm in Funshinagh in October 2004.
Last month, he was acquitted of manslaughter after successfully arguing that the killing was in self-defence.
Reports this morning say Mr Ward's inquest is scheduled to take place in Castlebar in early February and Mr Nally will be one of the witnesses summoned to give evidence.
