Row brewing over FG posters targeting McDowell

A row is brewing between Fine Gael and the Progressive Democrats over a new poster campaign criticising Minister for Justice Michael McDowell.

Fine Gael is planning to erect billboards nationwide accusing the minister of presiding over a massive upsurge in crime and a fall in detection rates.
